So, here we go again... pregnant and trying to find something to wear for today. Leggings? No, I wore my good pair yesterday. Oversized sweatshirt? I would but I’m sweating like a fat pig. How about a t-shirt? Damn it. There’s a stain on it. My husband's button-up? Actually… that might work!

Hi guys, it’s me, Angelica Chu, or some of you might know me as Ang.

I’m in my second trimester of this second pregnancy and I dread getting ready every day or any day for that matter. Everyone has that one coworker who’s also pregnant, super chipper, always dressed up and a full face of makeup. Ugh... who wants to be like that anyways. I kind of do... but, how does she do it though?!

Simple, she cares.

Listen up my pregnant friends, let’s start caring together too. One step at a time. Let’s begin with... brushing our hair today. It’s small but trust me, people notice. Then next, a little mascara. Afterward, lip gloss. My goodness, where have you been hiding all these years you sexy beast! At least that’s what I thought the other day when I started these small steps. It made me feel so good to actually do something for myself that made a big difference. It doesn’t take much nowadays. Heck, even if the 87-year-old postman looked at me twice I would feel good.

As of now, polka dots are my best friend. It makes the bump look cute and it hides imperfections. Listen to me carefully, YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUY MATERNITY CLOTHES! I mean you can if you plan on re-wearing it for your next 13 pregnancies but seriously… Size up (maybe even twice the size) because you can wear it as an oversized look later on as well. I prefer A-line, midi or t-shirt dresses for the mere fact that it’s flattering and grows with you. I would say, avoid ruffles, it only accentuates everything else that you’re trying to make look cute.

I know shopping online is easy, I mean so easy it’s like a click of a button (it was punny in my head) but I would say shop online only if you are certain of the sizes and if the return is easy. Amazon has fast delivery and their return policy is great (not an ad). I found this cute dress on there for only $19.99! It has some slight ruffles in the arms but nothing that’ll scare the neighbor's dog away. It also comes in various colors but I’d like to stick to neutrals so it can be a staple item as well.

Dress: Amazon

I’ve heard about Shein.com but I'm uncertain about their sizing. Sometimes the small could fit a toddler or the large could fit a bookshelf. However, they actually have a great return policy so I wouldn’t shy away from them.

Fabric-material is so important it's not even funny. Cotton and jersey knit are a pregnant mommy’s best friend. It’s breathable and also lets every part of your body breathe...if you know what I’m saying.

She looks great right? That’s how I feel after I’ve eaten. This look is so simple and can be worn in several different ways! I could go on and on but what would be the point if there wasn’t another blog to post about? So this is my exit…

Well, kids, this was great. We should do it again next time. I’ve typed your eyeballs off and now it’s time for me to care for my 1st child (my husband). Oh and the toddler too… Ha! Farewell, everyone!
