The Fall Edit: Makeunder

I love the change of seasons and with that, the change of makeup. This fall I’m really into the “makeunder” look: minimal makeup, bare skin, bushy brows, totally basic, but always chic.

For this look, I kept everything very simple starting with a thin layer of matte foundation from YSL All Hours Longwear Natural Matte Foundation. This is a great foundation if you want 24 hour coverage that’s lightweight. I only apply the foundation on my cheeks to keep the skin natural and finished with a quick buff of Hourglass’s Veil Translucent Setting Powder to top off the skin. Concealer isn’t necessary, but for a cleaner under eye area, I always go for NARS cult favorite Radiant Creamy Concealer.

There’s nothing better than bushy-untamed brows to look effortless, I kept it straight and thick using Anastasia Of Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo, the mix of both colors is the perfect shade for my brows. For lips, I used Dior Rouge Dior Lipstick 772 in shade Classic Matte: Brick or some color and switched it to Givenchy Le Rouge Liquide Lipstick 100 in Nude Tweed for a more monochromatic look. I used the same Dior Rouge Dior Lipstick on my cheeks as blush to tie the whole look together.

I finished off with a spritz of Jo Malone London Wood Sage & Sea Salt Cologne for the earthiest vibes. Are you guys into the makeunder this season too?
