Tuesday Tip: Petroleum Jelly?

PHOTOS FROM GOOGLE & GRAPHICS BY ME
Ever wonder what else petroleum jelly can be used for? For ages, petroleum jelly has been known as a great go-to remedy to treat dry skin and chapped lips. Interestingly enough, another useful application of this product is conditioning your eyelashes. We put our lashes through a lot of grief. That is why it's necessary that we treat it and revitalize it as we do with other parts of our bodies.

Yes, this $2 remedy can really make your lashes look healthier, and in many cases---longer and fuller as well. I usually apply petroleum jelly on the base of my lash line before I go to bed. In a week's time, you'll be able to see a difference in the state of your lashes; they should be well mannered and quite cooperative for dressing of mascara. Happy Winking!

Besides from being a conditioning agent, Jennifer Aniston has famously confessed to  using petroleum jelly as an anti-wrinkle eye treatment as well (read the related article here). Hey, if Jenn Ann can vouch for this über cheap beauty remedy, I'm sure there is some truth to its success.

Who would have thought that such an inexpensive and underrated ointment could have so many uses? Until next Tuesday Dolls!
