I've found that using lemon or lime has been an awesome cuticle solvent for manicures. The acidity in the citrus does an incredible job softening the cuticles, thus allowing them to be pushed back with ease. It also removes the yellowish tint your polish leaves behind on your nail beds. Not only is this a great natural and organic alternative to chemical cuticle removers, it smells refreshing and zesty! My first youtube tutorial was a how-to home manicure for that perfect salon touch. You can view it here.
Do you guys have any home remedies to share? I'd love to see it!
